Catcher in the Rye is quite simply an American classic. Its approach is unintentionally timeless, as Holden, and those he encounters, are as believable as characters come. I’m amazed that even in this digital age, college students can so easily relate to Holden’s situation and the angst he feels towards the world. Everyone goes through it, and that is why so many people (of all ages) love this book.

Got this vacuum at BestBuy and it broke after 1st use. A part on the bottom stopped spinning and now it no longer picks anything up. It justs moves stuff from one spot to another on the carpet. Will never go this cheap on a vacuum cleaner again, I get burnt everytime.

I love this scale! It is accurate, easy to use and good looking. The scale feels solid and well-made. A sharp tap with my heel turns it on easily. The LED readout is easy to see. I appreciate how consistant and accurate the weight measurement is. Remember to look for the batteries since they are tucked away in the styrofoam packaging. I thought they were missing and almost threw them away by accident. Definitely this is the best bathroom scale I have ever owned.

The OtterBox is bulky but shatter proof !!! the case doe not latch good to the clip. Any soft touch to the phone and the case will come out and fall to the ground. !!! Used it for a month then I gave up on it…
How to Play the

This is an excellent book. You do not have to be from the south to appreciate it. Yes, this did happen and it was how people were treated.

The video is excellent. I was not happy with the delivery of my product. I bought this for Father’s Day for my husband and it took 10 days for delivery. Iwas not told it would take this long. Had I know, I would have went to a brick and mortar store to purchase this.

This would not play on my Samsung BD-P2500, although its firmware is up to date and it has played other DTS HD Master Audio soundtracks. This could be the fault of the player, but owners of this player should probably avoid this recording.

When I was in high school, and that was many years ago, I clearly remember our literature teacher having problems with classifying this book to any genre. We had to read it, and most of the classmates grumbled. Yet, most of the classmates were girls, I should mention, and they were infatuated with a book called `Cry, The beloved country’. So we were kind of divided, we, the boys, preferred Holden, even though we found him harsh to read, never to admit it, because we just did not want to discuss the book which the girls liked. Anyway, I still do not think that `The Catcher in the Rye’ belongs to any kind of literature that deserves to be taught in high schools, because this book is disturbingly one of a kind. Nevertheless, after all these years I read it again, and I have discovered that it does have a genre, perhaps not an acceptable one, but it does belong to a certain category. I would put it under the category of `Revolutions’. At first the reader is kind of recoiled by the persistent complaints exclaimed by the hero. Today, I could compare it to a diary of any ordinary self absorbed profoundly disturbed Scandinavian urchin. But Holden, despite of being the most antagonizing protagonist I have ever read about, is not the seemingly anarchist type. Despite his anarchistic tendencies, Holden is a rebel with a dream; a vision even. Unlike the ordinary post traumatic stress disordered and self absorbed Scandinavian urchin one may confuse him with, Holden is actually dreaming about saving the world. The children that he wanted to catch and save from death in the rye field are the children of the future. Salinger, through Holden is the real dreamer; Aye, Salinger the author is clearly the real rebel, and it does not surprise me it was such a success in the sixties and seventies. The spirit of revolutions blew in the air then, and some of the warnings Holden talk about is of the dangers of becoming corrupt. I believe that if Salinger tried to publish this book today, it
