This item works great but it is very large. Make sure it will fit on your dash before you order. If it fits it works great. If not, not so much. Amazon should put the size on the web page. Its about 8″ across.

JUst as the other reviewers say, this vacuum has lots of power and does just about as well as the expensive models for a whole lot less money. You can’t beat this vacuum for the price.

I read this book along with a book club and all of the members loved this book and believe it was a great choice. I was a white child in Alabama in the 1960’s and only remember a few of the racial issues. It is hard to comprehend that in my lifetime people were treated in this way. I believe it is important for us to recall our nations history so this type of behavior is never repeated.

The characters were well defined and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened to Minny, Aibleen, and Skeeter. I highly recommend this book.
Classroom Inspiration

The ipod touch 3G was the first ipod I had ever purchased. It was a big decision too, as the thing is a bit pricey. However, I just thought I was buying myself a really cool music player. I didn’t realize I was basically getting an iphone (better than an iphone if you ask me# that can’t make phone calls!!
It surfs the web, gets on itunes directly from the ipod, and plays games/apps just like an iphone. I do love the large selection of free apps; they are not as good, generally, as the ones you pay for, but still neat.
Also, the itunes app is incredibly user friendly, as is everything else on the touch. I forget how much money I’ve spent sometimes!! #minor flaw—it’s almost TOO easy!#
The only cons I can think of are that the battery is not the longest lasting–unless you turn the brightness down to pretty dim–the wireless is not as strong as that of a laptop, and you can’t edit playlists/rename songs or really do anything other than play songs using the ipod itself. It all has to be done on the computer. Also, it needs to come with a charger other than the link to the computer. I don’t always have a computer handy, but I almost always can find a wall outlet.
It comes with nice headphones that sound great and stay in your ear well #I do love to run with it), and the genius feature is great for this as well.

I bought this pedometer for my mother who has since taken up walking long distances. This is an excellent pedometer but make sure you correctly measure your stride distance before putting it to use. I found that if your measurements are off – so is the pedometer’s way of counting your steps. I guess it’s good that it’s so sensitive and precise. The extra choice of clipping the pedometer to you is better than only having the option of placing it on your belt.

We received a Kindle II as a gift from a group about a year ago, and then accidentally broke it last week. We were SO sad–it is such a wonderful product. We had no idea who exactly bought it, or when, nor did we have any of the original docs. I called Amazon simply looking for an address to send it to be repaired, and after giving them just the email address through which we order books, they found our records, saw that it was slightly out of warantee, and still proceeded, unrequested, to ask for the info needed to send us a brand NEW one absolutely free, complete with shipping. I almost fainted! This has never happened to me before in my LIFE! My experiences with Apple customer service over the years have been nothing short of tears creating, much as I love my iPod. If you are considering a reading choice between the Kindle and the iPad, I have to say that this Amazon customer service experience would push me the Kindle way decisively.

Out of the box it works well. I tested it with two separate weights – 5 and 10 pounds. It measured them both at exactly their respective weights, stacked them and it read 15 pounds. I got on several times and got the same reading everytime – made sure to mix it up to make sure it wasn’t just remembering my weight. Only drawback is you have to make sure you are on a level ground, the legs can’t be in the grout of your tile, on carpet or any other uneven surface. Works as I expected.
