I purchased two of these and discovered after opening the box that the suite does not include Microsoft Outlook. There was no way to return the product since the box was opened despite my complaints that the images online were not clear and what appeared to be Outlook on the front cover really read “OneNote” – a completely different program – but yes, begins with the letter “O.” With the image being unclear, I should have inquired by calling but it would have been a lot more helpful if the image was clearer so that we could know what we were buying. While Amazon customer service was helpful, a refund or credit was out of their hands because the product was sold via a third-party vendor- who was very unfriendly. I would not recommend this product nor would I recommend purchasing anything through a third-party since there is little if any recourse you have as a customer when purchasing their products.

Bought another brand of pedometer @ Dick’s; the best one they carried and it didn’t count steps accurately. Returned it for a replacement, same problem. Looked for reviews on line and found this one; both rated highly and very economical. It is definitely both. Have used the first one for about 4 monthes flawlessly and bought 2 others to give as gifts. It was easy buying this on Amazon, as well as the 2 we bought for gifts. If you want a good pedometer for under $50, this is my recomendation.

Good value for little money. I use it in my canon rebel xsi and it works flawlessly so far. It was the best price on an 8gb sd card I could find.

After reading other reviews the device works as I had hoped. Browsing and purchasing books is simple, fast and works in most places (where I live the mobile signal can be a bit flaky). Renders pdfs very well with the screen in landscape orientation but the text is a bit small in portrait. Battery performs pretty much as claimed and is excellent with the wireless turned off. Well built solid device, good solid buttons and an excellent screen.

I have needed this software for about two years, and I would always shrug in my shoulders about buying it because of the price. Well, it came down to where I truly couldn’t run from it anymore, so I went to amazon, an boy was the price cheaper than it was at the store! Thanks Amazon!

Twilight is one of the best books for anyone who enjoys a lot of action and heart-breaking romance. Isabella Swan, nicknamed Bella, moves from her home to Pheonix, Arizona to live with her dad, Charlie (or Chief Swan) in Forks, Washington. Bella makes new friends, including Mike and Jessica. But then she meets an extremely handsome vampire, Edward Cullen, at her school, Forks High School. She gets to know Edward and his family, the Cullens. I would say the part with the most action is when she got chased by bad vampires, who have a desire to kill her. I would recommend this book to anyone ages 10 and above, but some of the words and sections may not be appropriate for lower ages because of the romance.

I brought this product for my 8 month old German Shepherd and this furminator works wonders! I also priced this product at Petsmart, which sells for around $53 dollars, so this was a steal on here. I only had it for a couple of weeks but it seems like it is a very sturdy tool! If you have a dog that sheds constantly as does my dog, I would sincerely recommend that you purchase this product!

Great product! We have two large cats and once I got this comb and used I never realized how much loose hair they had. I had to have little bucket near bye to constantly clean the comb from the loose hair that came off our cats.
Highly recommended.

Islamic Democracy and its

This book is heavily criticized for its racism. In fact, that’s all I had known about it for a while, as it is heavily criticized by students of literary criticism (as is our job), but I decided to actually read it one day, and I got a slightly older edition of the Norton Critical edition. I really enjoyed the book. It’s an incredibly well-written work, very engaging.

The narrative kind of annoyed me. Marlowe, the narrator isn’t actually narrating the story, an unnamed narrator who Marlowe’s telling the story to does. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, but it does allow judgments n Marlowe’s character to be more explicitly expressed in the beginning, but it’s pretty much Marlowe telling the story the whole way through.

I completely agree with the criticism of it being racist (which was first issued by Achebe, I believe). I would go further and say that the book, while almost seeming to criticize colonialism tends to actually support it. It makes the continent of Africa and its people into something of a hellish landscape, and the description of its effect on the Europeans (Kurtz) is best described as Lovecraftian. That is both what I liked about the book and what I hated about it.

The book starts out long after the story is over, and Marlowe, before starting the story speaks in praise of spreading European civilization around the world. He does this before the whole story that describes the evils of colonization. The evils that are portrayed in the book are not simply the evils of the Europeans, they’re what happen to the Europeans when confronted with the unknown. The book makes Europeans into the subject while the Africans are merely an object, something without free will and completely in nature. That is to say, they’re merely mirrors that taunt and traumatize the European subject. It is there where the story becomes a disturbing relic of colonialism.

All the same, I think you should probably read it. It’s very entertaining, and, if you go in
