Bananagrams crazy
Perfect stocking stuffer. I have nothing to add to all the exemplary praises of the other reviews, but did want to say that this game arrives in its zipped banana pouch carrier, with no bulky box or packaging. It’s the size of a fat banana, and would fit neatly into a Christmas stocking.
all ages can have fun. I got this for my daughter because she likes Scrabble but isn’t sophisticated enough yet to play against my husband (a Scrabble ace) and win, so she gets frustrated. I have played this with her and she won. I have also played this with her and my husband and he and I tied. The key thing about this game that seperates Bananagrams from Scrabble is that you score by how many words you make, not how many letters you play, so it’s ok to make little words. It does go fairly quickly (we average 20 minutes a game), anyone can play, and it’s good mental exercise. BUT – don’t lose your instructions! They aren’t complicated but you need them and the sheet it rather small and easy to misplace although you can find them online (yes, this is the voice of experience).
great fun for all ages.. We play with 11 yr olds & 70 yr olds. Great fun. A great gift for kids
