300mm EF Canon 75 OK?

Very suprised by this product. High expectations were dashed after I installed the lens in my camera an attempted to operate it. The rotational zoom mechanism is ’sticky’ which makes it jump as you are trying to zoom and focus. I don’t know how it got thru the QA check. Anyways I have reported it to Canon and am waiting for a response. Very unhappy with it right now.

No more .. 75 300mm Canon EF

We have almost 3 years of dirt built up in our apartments carpets so it is taking multiple treatments to get the carpets truly clean. We’ve even been able to remove black mold from some of the carpet in the bedroom with this machine. So far we’ve had 3 different managers in the complex who have promised us a carpet shampooing each time. One of these was after the hot water tank leaked two floors above us about two years ago. There are also quite a few places where cats have sprayed when we were cat sitting.

We’ve really noticed a difference in the air we’re breathing, there are a lot less sniffles now. This machine is worth every penny spent on it!!!

On actual usage on the extremely dirty carpet that we have use one and half measures of solution per tank. Where the carpet looks black use two measures of solution. It also helps to pre-treat some of the worst stains which we are using Bissel “Pet Stain and Odor” for that.

The watch took a little to get use to. It was bulky at first but not I dont run without it. The display is just big enought to see when I am running. The watch is very durable. Very east to use the watch and the software. It has been a big help to me I am able to track my miles and speed unlike before when I would just guess. Hope this helps you out. EF IS USM f/4-5.6 70-300mm Canon happy

“The hidden L lens…”. I bought this lens about a month ago when I purchased my Rebel XT.

I was initially dissapointed by the image quality but Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM turned out that I actually had a bad filter on the lens. Once I removed that cheap filter the lans came to life and has blown me away!!

If you read some of the forums there are actually Canon owners complaining that this lens is too good and has effectively devalued their expensive “L” lenses!

The only negative thing that I can say about this lens is that the front element rotates while focusing, making using a circular polarizer somewhat cumbersome. The Image Stabilizer really is a technological marvel though and will leave you wondering why every lens doesn’t come with it (the answer is that it adds to the weight and IS isn’t cheap).

This weekend was the first time the weather cooperated enough for me to try it outdoors. I went to a small local zoo and took a picture of a red fox from about 30ft away… through 2 wire fences… in sub-par lighting. I didn’t expect much. The picture actually came out and is so sharp I am having it framed.
