When I started reading ‘Artemis Fowl’ I didn’t know what to expect. I had just heard it was a popular series with tweens and young teens, but had heard little beyond that. At first I wasn’t too impressed, I found all the LEPrecon stuff a little too cute. But once Artemis sets his scheme in motion with the kidnapping of Holly, the book really picks up steam. In essence, ‘Artemis Fowl’ is a very good heist story, but one with fairies, trolls, dwarfs and 12 year old criminal masterminds. A lot of fun.

Eye in the Sky

Blair Witch meets Lord of the Flies meets Videodrome meets Big Brother. Phew! quite a hootenanny. The first hour of this movie is more psychosocial study than horror movie. The group of damaged young people living in the isolated house in the hope of sharing a million dollar prize get on each others’ nerves, bicker incessantly, and lust unrequitedly. This part of the film is less successful than the final half hour in which the mayhem finally kicks off. It’s during the last week of their six-month incarceration that the true reason for their being there is revealed, and during which the nastiness rapidly escalates. The audience’s viewpoint alternates between the numerous webcams inside the house, including night vision cameras, and the conventional camera of the film maker. This technique is effective at producing an intimacy and urgency to the drama. Unfortunately the final resolution is something of a letdown. But this is still quite entertaining and should at least moderately satisfy most fans of the genre.
My Little Eye VHS

I’ve tried pretty much every eye product out there and spent hundreds of dollars on various products (rather ashamed of this but I’m being honest). Having horrible dark circles under your eyes runs in my family due to allergies and various over reasons. Most dermatologists will tell you that you just have to live with dark circle because there isn’t much that can be done. Some products are actual skin lighteners which bleach the skin and maybe if your problem isn’t as chronic as mine but your under eye skin is very sensitive and thin.
The Neutrogena Radiance Boost Eye Cream is the only product I’ve tried that makes any visible difference. (Caudalie makes an eye cream that makes your eyes feel really good after a rough night but no visible difference.) This one visibly makes your eye area look healthy and bright. The effect isn’t huge but is far greater than anything else I’ve tried. It works great at reducing puffiness while restoring the natural firmness of the under-eye area. It works fairly well on the dark circles, more on the circle park than the dark. It is not an anti-wrinkle cream so no effect there. You should be careful not to use too much (this actually reduces the effectiveness) and don’t let it build up over time.
Oh and to be fair I guess the Garnier Nutritioniste caffine eye stick works a little, caffine does increase blood flow to skin but its not much of an effect (but the cold silver ball on applictor does feel really nice on tired eyes).
This Neutrogena one, however, far outperforms the rest. A girl in one of my classes told me that all the girls in her dorm use it to recover after all night binges, I cant speak for that but for my slightly older skin it seems to work quite well.

I really wish i had recieved this item correctly the first time and am very tired of the shippers making these stupid mistakes and I will not give them the opportunity to make it better
