This is an absolutely great machine. In the past I have rented one of those steam vacs from the grocery store and been totally disgusted — they leave my rugs sticky and dirtier than they were to begin with. Consequently, I had my doubts as to just how effective this machine would be. BUT based on the rave reviews I decided to try it. I am soooooo glad I did. I cannot believe the dirt this thing picks up — it’s astonishing and sickening what was lurking in my rugs. It is so easy to use, but do — absolutely do — read the manual and follow every step. Also make sure you read Lissie’s 5 star comment dated 12/1/05 before using the machine for the first time. It is extremely helpful. Believe me, you will be happy you bought this machine!

This scale is actually perfect. The screen is big and easy to read, its very accurate, and seems to be durable. It was a great buy. I would recommend it.

I own a large ISP in Nashville (over 5M anual revenue) and we use this book for training our helpdesk and sales staff. It works very well for this purpose and gets our entry-level people going quickly with Internet logic.

This is your basic vacuum cleaner.

Set up: Had some trouble pushing the 2 screws in because the holes were misaligned. Took some effort and time to finally get them through the holes. The screws were not a tight fit, meaning they didn’t screw in tightly into the washers.

Vacuum: Only used once.
PROS: As far as I can tell, the vacuum does a decent job. The accessories work. Small and lightweight. There is a pull on the vacuum which makes maneuvering it easier.
CONS:The cord and the hose are a bit short, as mentioned in previous reviews. It is also very, very loud. I am certain the people next door could hear me vacuuming through the walls. Unlike the vacuum described in the manual, there is no light indicator to tell you which areas are especially dirty or clean. So, you won’t know which areas to go over more than once. There is also no sounds indicating it’s actually picking up dirt. I did notice the vacuum sometimes didn’t pick up little pieces of dirt that I could visually see on the carpet, other times it did fine.

Overall, you get what you pay for.

I purchased the wired and wireless versions of this cam at the same time. They replaced a single dLink DCS1000W. Both failed during set-up and tested out as faulty. Trendnet advised I return them for exchange after a few minutes discussion of the diagnostics I had performed. Amazon made the process painless and the new units set up and worked fine.

I wanted to display the camera output on my web page but Trendnet doesn’t provide code support to do that, at least they never responded to my request for it. I viewed the camera output on the web interface and just copied the code I needed and imbedded it in my page. Works great.

I’ve given it numerous times to friends and I have two copies of my own – one to loan out because I tell everyone I know about this book. It’s an amazing read and it’s really different. I loved the book.

This book that so many have pertained to as “insightful,” was merely a waste of time and money in my opinion. If you are reading this book thinking about how insightful the questions are, you’re obviously not very insightful yourself. If you’re reading the answers to the questions and thinking how insightful they are, you’re not very creative. The opinions this man offers as “answers from God” make me feel like I am watching a political debate between our worthless government involving a j*ck*ss and elephant poop.(Catch my drift?)If you really want a truly interesting read, try The Satanic Bible or the real Bible. The writing in either of those two books put this one to complete shame.

We purchased this scale based on the rave reviews it has received and the outstanding price. We couldn’t wait to get it. It came quickly, looked great, and the display window was very easy to read. We were very happy until…we noticed it not only changed weights on you when it was in one place (stepping on it at intervals of a few seconds)…but if we moved it to different locations throughout the house (non carpeted locations)it ALWAYS showed different weights…varying up to 5 pounds (I weigh 5 pounds more if I weigh by the stove than if I weigh by the pantry door). Calibrating itself does not seem to help. My husband wants to return it. I’m really disappointed.

UPDATE: After posting this review last night, to our great surprise, we were immediately contacted via e-mail by the company/manufacturer who wants to send us another one post haste. We were assured that it must be a damaged load sensor. They have offered to send us a new one right away at no extra expense. What wonderful customer service…I am indeed impressed. I will post an update as soon as we receive the new scale.
