I’ve had the wii for about a year and I still love it! For the price ($150 last year just before Christmas) it’s a pretty great gaming system. I like that it does so much. I’ve always loved nintendo and in fact haven’t owned any other system, so I can’t compare it to xbox or ps3 or anything. It’s great to be able to download games from online, and I can play my old gamecube games on it too. It’s also nice to watch netflix vids on the wii. I will say that I’m not a big fan of the games where you just sit there and shake the remote or something, I prefer the games where you really move. I think the wii is great for what it is and worth the price. For instance the Wii Sports game rocks! I love the games and you really get into it, so much so that after playing for hours yesterday my arms are killing me. I’m a big fan of boxing, which is really fun to play. I have heard about xbox’s new game with Kinect where, basically like the wii but without remotes, and it sounds fun. I’m hoping that eventually they develop something like that for the wii, but buying an xbox and kinect for $400 is way too much. Anyway, if you’re a nintendo fan you’ll probably like the wii, if you aren’t, you may like it you may not. It’s definitely great for families and such. My grandma even plays wii bowling at her senior center.

This is my second Kitchenaid immersion hand blender. I am what the world calls a Foodie. I put my kitchen appliances through the ringer. I use them on a daily basis and hard use at that. So the fact that my first blender lasted over 3 years says a lot about the quality. I am a big fan of Kitchenaid products. I made the mistake of buying a Magic Bullet and it was a piece of junk. Also they did not honor the warranty because I did not buy it directly for the Mfg.. Like a coworker said once you buy cheap stuff you get cheap stuff. Spend the little extra and buy a good blender like this.

Not sure I can add much more to the thousands of reviews of The Help and I rarely review books but I had to go on record as saying this is one of my favorite books in recent years and will be on my list of all time favorites. I felt so moved and connected to the 3 primary characters – each of them unique and highly individual. I laughed, I cried, I didn’t want it to end. And I would love to read a follow up of how they each fare. If you enjoy novels set in an a historic context, particularly recent American history, and/or enjoy stories about women relating to each other, you must read this book.

We were required to read this drek in high school. It made me sick then, and it makes me sick now, 45 years later, that so many morons could act like lemmings in calling this tripe a masterpiece. If it is a coming of age story, it is about humanity itself coming to an age of self-loathing and self-pity; constantly the victim. Never responsible for their own shortcomings in failure to appreciate the privelege of existance. As I said; a first class moping piece of crap. Teachers should be fired for even suggesting an adolescent child or teen read it.

This order was a replacement for this steamvac that we had before that broke. We are happy with the machine but was disappointed because there was a missing bolt. We spoke to customer service who then sent us the wrong bolt. It became clear that we were never going to get the correct bolt. We went to the hardware store and bought parts to make the missing bolt.

The Kindle is a great product. I received it as a gift from my wife. I am from and live in Mexico, but I have always liked to read books in English. It is an excellent way to practice the language and it also gives me access to a great variety of authors. Thanks to the Kindle I have immediate access to a huge array of books. 3G works perfectly in Mexico and in seconds I can buy books and have them downloaded in my Kindle immediately. Actually, I now find myself reading more than before. I have also found a good amount of books in Spanish, mostly classics; I think Amazon is doing a good job in expanding its book offers in languages other than English. The display of the Kindle is excellent; I can read for hours as if reading a normal book. I can travel and have a good amount of books to read without overloading my luggage. I highly recommend this product.

This is my fifth (and hopefully last) pedometer in the past 6 months. I bought the cheap $5 or $10 ones in the store and they constantly reset, or worse, stopped working. I’ve dropped this one more than once and prayed that it was still working when I picked it up. And it has. I’m only dropping it because I refuse to attach the tether. At least it gave me the option. Others don’t even come with a leash. Love the different step counters. Pretty darn accurate and like that I can review the last week to see how I’m doing with my 10K a day. I would recommend this pedometer in a heartbeat.
