Light Up change
Note: I’m obviously not a professional book reviewer, and as such have rather preferred to the more informal kind of tone/mood and style. Why I am taking the time and effort to write this review is pretty simple: I finished reading the book at around 2 AM a few days ago, and after I was done I couldn’t help but feel a little dazed and confused, with images of Robert Pattinson’s smile regurgitating from my mind. After ruminating on this a little while, I had what I would call, one of the most dismal epiphanies of my life(yet): Not only did I read 500 pages of pure horse crap, but more importantly and unfortunately, this horse crap is what the Buzz has been about! WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO? OK, on a more serious note though, the book, surprisingly, debuted as #5 on NY Times Bestseller list(reaching #1 in a few weeks), has sold 17 million copies, and has been translated into 37 different languages. This book was probably the most reluctant reads of mine, so I strongly feel compelled to critique it, lest those precious hours of my life are truly lost. Nevertheless, I would without a doubt still recommend reading this book just for the sake of appreciating literature a little more. After all, without dark, wouldn’t light be without meaning?
No offense is meant to the die hard fans, so please don’t take any of this personally. It’s just an opinion, and you are free to voice yours in the comments section. If I have presented any incorrect facts, please let me know. But I do hope, despite my harsh sarcasm, the humor is taken light heartedly, without any hard feelings. All I hope to achieve is to give an insight of what at least not to expect when venturing into this ordeal. On a side note though, if you are not a hopelessly romantic 14 year old dressed in multi-colored bands, and this book manages to give you “the chills” because you believe it is one of the best written books and a “true love story,” then just maybe you need to re-evaluate a few things.

The Furminator actually does what it says. It eliminates so much excess fur. I have stopped having to vacuum up white dog fur twice a day. My dog loves it too. I brush her a few minutes everyday (outside) and the fur has stopped flying ! Buy it you’ll love it.

Black Light must go on
As a frequent traveller and avid reader I became a little tired of carrying numerous books around with me. One has to make allowances for travel delays! Having researched several book readers I opted for the Kindle 2 and am absolutely delighted with it. No more carrying of heavy books and new releases at the touch of a button. Battery life is superb.
I recently used my Kindle on the beach in bright sunshine and the anti glare screen meant I could read every word with ease.
I would recommend this (and in fact already have to a number of friends)in an instant.
Wonderful product.

Review about Alex Ray Of Light
I love this! My dog is a short haired lab mix, and this is so helpful in getting out his constantly shedding coat. It’s very quick and he seems to enjoy the way this feels, as opposed to other brushes I’ve tried that made him squirm while I used it. His coat looks so healthy after a few quick swipes everyday. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality brush for their puppers!

Glad I read the other reviews. The SDHC cards in the local stores were NOT usually class 6, which supports the video function on my new Panasonic digital camera. I’m not a tech weeny, but it seems to work very well on my first test runs.

My oldest son was surprised to hear that J.D. Salinger fought in World War II. He thinks of Holden Caulfield as a contemporary, a peer, anachronistically making his way through a few days of life. The period references in the novel are like props on a movie set, no more real than the phonies Holden encounters. It’s perplexing that so many of my son’s classmates felt no connection to Holden after reading The Catcher in the Rye this past year. We are told on TV, on the internet and in movies that our teenagers and young adults are increasingly savvy, mature and perceptive. When it comes to technology, they certainly are. But most of students in the class considered Holden a whiny freak without realizing that often, it’s the whiny freaks who walk through life with the clarity of sight and earnestness needed to leave this existence a little better than it was when we entered it. The story itself is a masterpiece. Salinger was firing on all cylinders and tapping into the strange other-worldly literary omnipotence we usually attribute to Shakespeare when he wrote Catcher. It’s interesting to wonder whether he was even aware of everything he was doing in the book or if he was like a pro athelete who enters “the zone” and emerges at the end of the game a puzzled hero. Every time one of Holden’s apologists dies, as his creator did this past week, a piece of Holden dies with them. Fortunately, he is as viral as one of my son’s favorite You Tube videos. When we follow his exploits, Holden’s DNA intertwines with our own and is propagated in everything we say and do. Fortunately, he will never completely die, but will continue to confound those who think him merely a whiny freak. RIP Holden Caulfield. Only Shot At A Good Tombstone

While the Kindle works great, it has one major flaw. I bought the cover to protect my Kindle. It ended up breaking the front of the Kindle at both connection points. Amazon really needs to change the way the Kindle connects to the covers.
