Indescriable how great this book is!!!! I just do not know where to begin..its one that I will read and reread and reread which I hardly ever do because I read soooooo many books so I never have time to reread anything except the Bible! however this book will be reread, I have ordered all books by this author based on the joy that this book has brought me….its laugh out loud funny! and I have done sone a few times, on the commute to work, in the restaurant, so on and so forth and have gotten some strange looks, in fact 2 people asked me “Is that a comedy book?” Totally great book!! Thank you Bertice Berry for writing this book!

The watch is cute, nerdy, and chic and I was very happy with it. However, I have only owned it for three weeks at the most and it already has a large scratch right across the face. I read the reviews about the scratchable face and I figured those were normal, small scratches like you would get on a phone or DS screen after a while. I mean, I’ve had several cheap digital watches over the years with “mineral” screens and I’ve never had a big problem. Oh no, this is a very large, deep scrape across the face that makes the far left number hard to see is some light. And, of course, it’s ugly to have a scratched up watch. The chrome on the sides also has big scratches on it. You could argue it’s only a $20 watch, but it should look OK for a decent amount of time! I have an easy desk job so I have no idea what I could have done to scratch it so badly.

Also, the far left ‘2′ used for military time is rather squished, which isn’t apparent in the photo. Keep this in mind if you plan to use it for military time. I was disappointed, but it’s not a deal breaker as I don’t require a military time watch.

The light is surprisingly bright, although it stays on just barely long enough to get the time “to save the battery,” as one of the reviewers says. The circles you see in the photo animate all the time, and my boyfriend says oh yeah, that sure helps the battery So it would be nice to be able to set the light time longer.

The alarm feature is nice and partly why I bought the thing. However, it’s not loud enough to wake me up from a nap. Also, it only beeps for like 10 seconds and then it stops. And it won’t try again. So if you’re in a noisy environment or you just want your watch to keep beeping until you’re done with something … this won’t work at all.

I purchased and installed these per directions. If anything, they drew more moles and volles. I did everything the instructions said. They are no more than an alleged high tech rip-off. Could not get a refund. SAVE your money!

I can live with this scale — not thrilled, but I don’t regret the purchase.

The best thing about it is the display – I can read it without putting on my glasses (and then having them fall off because I’m looking down!). It’s comfortably large and feels solid.

Three things I’m not crazy about:

a) It is hard to turn on. It seems to need a sharp, sudden tap, as opposed to gradual pressure. I’ve been unable to turn it reliably without creating a noise. I can’t turn it on by tapping my foot on the top unless I press quite hard. Sometimes I turn it on by lifting an edge of the scale with my toe and letting it drop. One day I dropped a small box next to the scale, and it turned on, even though the box fell about 1-2 feet away. This is repeatable. But toe-tapping is ineffective unless I’m wearing hard-soled shoes (not often the case when I weigh myself).

b) We keep the scale against the wall so that it’s not an obstacle in the bathroom. It makes a loud rattling noise when you try to drag it across the floor. My old scale was much quieter. But, on the bright side, the rattling seems to be effective in turning the scale on!

c) It offers one-tenth of a pound precision, but not accuracy. I was originally excited to see that I could weigh myself with finer granularity than a pound. But it’s erratic. For example, I just weighed myself at 154.0 pounds. I then weighed myself while holding .7 pounds of objects, the scale still reported my weight as 154.0. Then when I increased it to 1.1 extra pounds, the scale read 154.8. So there is quite a bit of rounding going on, and if you want to micromanage your weight, this is not the scale for you.

We’ve had this scale for quite awhile, and it hasn’t needed batteries again, which is great. And it is miles (or pounds?) better than the old one we had, so thumbs up, with qualifications.

I can honestly say that this book just plays to anyone who is weak and searching for something to absolve them of their own guilt. TO say that God doesn’t care what you do or how you live your life, is so absurd that only idiots would believe that. IF you are a christian then you should know that the Devil will lie and he knows the bible as good as the Lord himself. To me this is just another way to corrupt our youth and conflicted and floundering Christians. It isn’t a shock that Oprah endorses this. Look at her connections. Isn’t it convenient that she is behind Obama 100%? I hope that he doesn’t listen to her in areas of spirituality or our whole country will be in peril. If you are truly looking for a good book to read read ” In the grip of grace” by Max Lucado.

This bike is an excellent buy, for the money. Free 2 day shipping? You can’t beat that. Arrived on time. Assembly was fairly easy. Bike Rides Smoothly and is very fast. I’d recommend you get a better seat for it though, because the one that comes with it is very stiff and uncomfortable. I’d recommend the “Schwinn No Pressure” seat its on 13.99 , and its very soft and comfortable.

This watch is everything that I expected and more. It is easy to set up and even easier to use. The amount of information that it records about a workout is phenomenal. Both the software that comes with the watch and the Garmin Connect web based tool allow you to see and compare different aspects of your workout such as how changing elevation effects heart rate, pretty cool. The mapping capabilities using Garmin Conect are fantastic and extremely accurate. When the watch is first turned on it quickly finds the sattelites even under trees and around builbings. I especially like the countdown alert at the end of an interval or workout which is very useful in noisy surroundings. Of course, the Amazon price was fantastic!
