Think of Different Clinique Lotion Dramatically Moisturizing ?
Acne-prone or oily skin BEWARE!. I got a sample of this with a purchase I made at Nordstrom.
I have oily, acne-prone skin with some dry spots around my chin area. I lightly applied the lotion to the dry spots on my face. Initially, the results I got were great. It also seemed that my face was producing less oil throughout the day when I applied this in the morning.
About a week after using this product, I decided to check out what the ingredients were…I should have been more careful considering how sensitive my skin is but I had always heard people rave about this lotion and figured I would be fine. This lotion is LOADED with mineral oil. I believe it’s the first or second ingredient.
To make a long story short, the day I read the ingredient list is when I decided to never use this product on my face again, even though Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion did a great job of moisturizing my dry spots. That evening, I noticed some extremely painful cystic acne forming on my jawline, exactly where i was applying the lotion.
If I had super-dry, blemish-free skin, I would absolutely use this product. If you experience any form of acne or oily skin, I would recommend staying far, far away from the lotion. I am planning on trying the gel in the next couple weeks. I hope it works!
Been using it since I was a teen. My favorite moisturizer . Does not leave skin greasy and does not burn your eyes!
The solution to the moisturizer dilema!. I have always had a bone to pick with facial moisturizers. I have really sensitive skin and I can’t seem to find a moisturizer that gives me the right ammount of moisture without causing my skin to break out. My mom and I took a trip recently and my face was really dry and I didn’t have any moisturizer with me, so I borrowed my mom’s which happened to be clinique. I fell in love with it! It’s such a light moisturizer, but got rid of my dryness problem. Best of all, no breakouts! I’m converted. This stuff is great for anyone who has moisturizer issues!
